Preparing for Dorset Art Weeks
Still sorting out the garden and studio. Taken a load of old metal
to the scrap dealer in Poole. It would have been ideal for a sculptor
making scrap sculpture, but it was in my way.

Gallery on the Square
Private View this evening at the beautiful new Gallery on Queen Mother’s Square, Poundbury, Dorchester, with artists Claire Hinks, Nina Squire and others. My husband bought 2 beautiful glass baubles from the English Bauble Company.

London
Another Olympic Training day. But had time to visit the little known G.F. Watts Memorial Garden of Heroic Self Sacrifice for people who lost their lives saving others. It’s done in lovely Doulton Lambeth tiles and a pity, it hadn’t been kept up. You find it tucked away between St. Paul’s Cathedral and the London Museum in Postman’s Park.

Seen in the Pavement in Bath:
From a crack in a rock
a river springs
and sings it’s way
to the ocean.
